About Me in Peru

On my graduation day of college, if you had asked me where I would be in two years, I never thought I would say I'd be doing missions work in South America, Peru.  In fact, I thought I would have frowned at the idea!  But, the Lord is amazing and has brought me here to work as a 40/40 missionary with an organization called Extreme.

This is my blog where I share with you my experiences!  I want to try to give you the best idea possible of what my life in Peru is like.  I hope if you have any questions that you would ask them.  I am more than happy to hear that my readers are thinking about what I'm doing here and are doing more than just reading.

My work in Peru is planting churches.  As a 40/40 I am working alongside a Peruvian and together we have a goal to build 3 churches.  There are 40/40 missionaries spread across the Southern region of Peru in different cities like Arequipa, Cusco and Iquitos, but our assigned city is Puno.  I will be working there along with several other 40/40 missionaries!  This is my new family: Chad and Amanda Duerre, Garren Moore (Jeremias), Micah Hargrove (Nelson), Kristen Sailsbury (Francisca), and Roy (Sixto).  The parentheses are their Peruvian partners.  I would love for you to get to know my family members as well!!!  Thus the links!

Your prayers are much needed.  I have seen the work of God through prayer and it's astounding.  He does, in fact, answer prayers!  Alongside of prayer, we are working under support of people like you!  If you feel led to give I would urge you to visit www.extremenazarene.org/allen.  That is my personal missionary site where you can make monetary donations (tax reducible) or commit to being a prayer warrior.

Again, if you have any questions, please ask me!  And continue reading!
